more big news for mikifoto! i am super psyched to share a fashion editorial that i photographed for the little shop’s new online magazine, the little book. what fun it was to choose the models, pick wardrobe and style for this summer theme.  reminded me of my days back in advertising.  it’s a must read because it’s chock full of information for family, healthy living, style and community. definitely check it out!

i am so excited to share my second cover for Gainesville’s, Haile Village Journal! already out and about, find a copy and check it out. the beautiful Daniela Urdanetta graces the cover, a soon to be sixth grader at Oak Hall. and don’t forget to read the fashion story on what to wear for the new fall season. you’ll find a handsome mr. Ezra Yazdanpour, a 1st grader at gainesville country day, along with daniela and a list of tips on where to stock up on all the cool school gear.  it’s hard to believe school will be starting soon but it’s right around the corner!

alice in wonderland. that was our vision for the images decking the walls (and website) of the little shop. and with expert styling, beautiful models and an enchanted green forest location….it all seemed to work perfectly. and now the reveal of these images blown up HUGE on canvas tell a vibrant, show stopping story. suitably matched to the style and vibe of the little shop. definitely check it out!

big day. big turnout. big success. all for the newly opened little shop. now open in the haile village and offering children’s new and stylish consignment clothing at reasonable prices.  it is a breath of fresh air for gainesville….showcasing style and fashion for our kiddos.  while also creating a community center for children’s activities and parent meetups.  owners, kelly warm and andrea love, are the ultimate multi-taskers as moms, fashionistas and entrepreneurs.  i am proud to have partnered with them for their store’s photography and more projects to come!

meet calla, a young lady who wears many hats. a santa fe college student studying anthropology. a future documentary film star. a part time worker bee in a local law firm. and now an aspiring model.

she’s been on my blog before and my camera completely loved her. what fun it was to see her again and run around downtown gainesville taking images to build her portfolio. she has incredible eyes and luminous skin and great lips. reminds me of a young liv tyler. this session was totally different for me….i tried to create images that were edgy, fashion forward and magazine worthy. all while showing calla’s range of looks. she is quite the beauty and i definitely a rising star. good luck girl!
