here’s a lyric from a johnny cash song that i didn’t even know was in my memory.  it’s amazing what an image can spill out of your mind.  it’s one of the things i love so much about photography.  the unexpected emotion and memory that comes forth.

with 2010 upon us, i have challenged myself to try to take a photo (or some) once a week.  it could be anything. but i just want to motivate myself to keep snapping.  and so here is my first photo of the year taken on a blistery blue-skyed day while i was waiting in the park.
